Hey everybody!
From time to time, I would like to use this space to show some of my personal work alongside the weddings, portraits, and other events I photograph. The image I’ve chosen for today is a Melbourne street somewhere near the Southbank district, and due to some new ridiculous council copyright laws, it is going to be harder and harder to photograph around the city of Melbourne without having to make a down payment to the council for the free act of taking a photo….
This new legislation has been heavily enforced up in Sydney, especially around the iconic Sydney Opera House. World renowned Aussie landscape photographer Ken Duncan is staging a protest rally & mass photo shoot at Campbell’s Grove, Sydney, on the 29th of August. If you interested in supporting this worthy cause, more info can be found at the Arts Freedom Australia website here: Rally for Concerned Photographers. BYO Tripods & Kodak Tri-X film.
Here’s the image for today. Processed in lightroom, texture and final details added in Photoshop.

Cheers,
J.
